Channel Sales Manager

About The Position

As a Channel Sales Manager, you will be working closely with AWS, our largest strategic partner, to build relationships, expand awareness and exposure of Spotinst, while nurturing critical engagements in an enormous global market


  • Massively grow revenue contribution through our partnership with AWS in your region 
  • Identify, manage, and execute various training and relationship-building events with AWS teams and team leaders
  • Coordinate and collaborate with marketing, strategy, engineering and other teams
  • Identify opportunities to connect Sales and Sales Engineering executives at Spotinst with their counterparts at AWS to drive value for shared customers 
  • Respond nimbly to a fast-changing, technical industry and represent Spotinst on the “front lines” while we continue to innovate and launch new products/services
  • Work with senior executives across the Sales and Alliances organizations to address and mediate any territory conflict 
  • Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities
  • Work with partners to develop sales proposals, quotations, and pricing
  • Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences
  • Assist in partner marketing activities such as trade-shows, campaigns and other promotional activities


Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales or channel sales role at a technology company (preferably startup) that required significant in-person selling and relationship building
  • Clear track record of exceeding goals, and excellent performance relative to peers: especially quota
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
  • Relevant Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience at least one major cloud provider - preferably AWS
  • 2+ years Experience managing sales teams (either field or inside sales)
  • Proven ability to learn and persuasively communicate complex technologies
  • Track record of assisting large strategic partnerships and/or channel relationships
  • Familiarity with Salesforce
